De beelden van Christie Rusche zijn gracieus, elegant, dynamisch en hebben een enigszins klassiek karakter. De dynamiek van haar beelden ontstaat door een subtiel gebruik van moderne stijlmiddelen, die haaks lijken te staan op de klassieke vormen. Deze tegenstrijdigheid kenmerkt haar beelden, maar ook haar materiaalkeuze lijkt tegenstrijdig.

In the final result, they complement and reinforce each other in a remarkable harmony. Christie Rusche's sculptures are, in fact, a conscious manipulation of time and material.
